H-1B Initial Registration Selection Process Completed
On March 27, 2020, USCIS announced that it has received enough electronic registrations to reach the FY 2021 H-1B cap. Random selection was carried out from among the registrations properly submitted. Petitioners with selected registrations will be notified no later than March 31, 2020, that they are eligible to file an H-1B cap-subject petition for the beneficiary named in the registration. Those who receive “SELECTED” notice may file H-1B cap-subject petitions for FY 2021.
My office has received the first small batch of “SELECTED” notices today.

For those who receive an RFE or NOID dated between March 1 and May 1, 2020, any responses submitted within 60 calendar days after the response deadline set forth in the RFE or NOID will be considered by USCIS before any action is taken.
